Owen update

Owen had his second MRI scan today, this time on his spine. He did great again, falling asleep within seconds so they were able to capture good images. We got very promising results...he does not have any syrinx (fluid pockets on his spine) which could cause motor impairment. He does not have any fluid on his brian (hydrocephalus) either. As of now, it looks like we found this very early and aside from the headaches, he does not have any other symptoms. We also heard from the surgeon and will be meeting with her on Monday the 31st at 3:00. We feel very fortunate we caught this in the early stages, before any complicating issues developed. We will hopefully have more information after speaking with the surgeon. Thanks again for all your well wishes.
