Owen update

Owen will be having surgery on June 5th at 830 am. The surgery is approx 3 hours long. It is called posterior fossa decompression surgery. Owen will be in the hospital for 3-5 days following surgery. Dave and Liam will be staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Long Island while Owen is recovering. I will be with Owen the entire time he is in the hospital. Dr Rekate from the Chiari Institute will be preforming Owen's surgery at the North Shore Hospital. After Owen is discharged from the hospital, Owen Liam and I will stay with the Constantino fam for another week until Owen's 2 week post-op appt. Dave will be returning to work after Owen is discharged and then meeting us back in Long Island to drive home 2 weeks after surgery. Please please please pray for Owen for successful surgery and a speedy recovery. We know we have a lot of love and support coming our way and appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers more than we can express. As always, I will try to post as much info on our blog as it is the easiest and fastest way to keep everyone updated. We are looking forward to giving Owen the chance to be pain free and get back to the business of being a crazy kid.
